SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS
RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain have been isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below February average temperature in Chin State and (2°C) below February average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region, (Northern and Eastern) Shan State, (2°C) above February average temperature in Southern Shan State and (3°C) to (4°C) above February average temperatures in Bago and Yangon Regions and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (4°C) each in Falam, Tiddim, Mingin and Mogoke, (5°C) each in Namsam, Mongyang and Ramthlo and (6°C) each in Thipaw, Lashio, Kyaukmae, Mindat and Pyinoolwin. The noteworthy amount of rainfalls recorded were Hkamti (0.08)inch and Machanbaw (0.04)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 4th February, 2020: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region, Northern Shan and Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
