SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers has been scattered in Chin State, isolated in Kachin State and weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Magway and Bago Regions, Kayin State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above March average temperature in Taninthayi Region and (2°C) below March average temperature in Chin State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (40°C) in Chauk and (38°C) each in Yamethin, Taunggu, Gyobingauk, Bawlakhae and Hpa-an. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Ramthlo (0.32)inch, Falam (0.12)inch and  Putao (0.04)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 6th March, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin and Kayin States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
