SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, light rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Eastern Shan State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan (North and South), Chin and Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (4°C) below February average temperature in Chin State, (2°C) above February average temperature in Southern Shan State and (5°C) above February average temperature in Yangon Region and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-2°C) in Hakha, (2°C) in Ramthlo, (5°C) each in Heho and Tiddim, (6°C) each in Namsam and Mindat and (7°C) each in Putao, Falam, Pyinoolwin and Mogoke. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Kengtung and Mongyang (0.04)inch each.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North and East Central Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
