SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers has been scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, isolated in Northern Shan State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Shan (South and East), Chin and Kayah States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above March average temperature in Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Kayin and Mon States and (2°C) below March average temperature in Chin State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Bawlakhae, (40°C) each in Chauk, Hpa-an, Myawaddy and Theinzayet, (39°C) each in Tatkon, Pyay, Shwekyin, Tharrawady, Khayan, Hinthada and Hlaingbwe. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.20)inch in Monyin, (0.16)inch in Tamu, (0.08) inch in Muse and (0.04)inch in Homalin.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25th March, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Sagaing Region, Kachin, Shan (North and East) and Chin States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
