SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers has been scattered in Taninthayi Region, Kachin and (Northern)Shan States, isolated in (Eastern)Shan State and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) above April average temperatures in Eastern Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and (2°C) above April average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, (Northern and Southern)Shan State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (44°C) in Chauk, (43°C) each in Magway and Aunglan and (42°C) each in Minbu, Taungdwingyi, Sinbyugyun, Pay and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.47) inch in Machanbaw, (0.40) inch in Myeik, (0.31) inch in Putao and (0.08) inch in Lashio.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 21st April, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and isolated in Shan and Chin States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of rain or thundershowers in Sagaing Region, Kachin, Shan and Chin States.
