- BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to Vigorous in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
- FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 1st August, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Kachin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavy falls in Magway Region, Chin and Rakhine States and isolated heavy falls in Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions and Mon State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
- STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h.
- OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of Strong monsoon.
- FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 1st August, 2015: One or two rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is (100%).

- (31.7.2015) According to the observations at (13:30) hrs MST today, the deep depression over Bengladesh continues to move Northwest wards and weaken gradually next (12)hours commencing noon today. Monsoon is strong to vigorous in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

- (30.7.2015) According to the observations at (18:00) hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “Komen” over Northeast Bay of Bengal is corssing to Southern Coasts of Bengladesh near Chittagong. Monsoon is strong to vigorous in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Deep depression
- According to the observations at (05:30) hrs MST today, the deep depression over Northeast Bay of Bengal has slightly moved to North wards and it is centered at about (50) miles Northwest of Cox’s Bazar (Bangladesh), (35) miles Southwest of Chittagong (Bangladesh), (90)miles Northwest of Maungdaw (Myanmar) and (140) miles Northwest of Sittwe (Myanmar).
- The present stage of the deep depression is coded orange stage and it is moving towards Southern coasts of Bangladesh near extreme Northern parts of Rakhine Coasts.
Position of the deep depression, Center pressure and wind speed
- The deep depression is located at Lattitude (22.0) degree North and Longitude (91.3) degree East, Centre pressure of deep depression is (993) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (45) miles per hour at (05:30) hrs MST today.
Foreacst for next (24) hours
- It is expected to cross Southern coasts of Bangladesh near Chittagong during next (24) hours commencing morning today.
- It will be under maximum wind speed with (50-60)mph in Maungdaw district, (45-50)mph in Sittwe district during the deep depression is crossing the coasts of Bangladesh.
- Frequent squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (45 - 50) m.p.h.
- During the deep depression is crossing the Southern coasts of Bangladesh, probable maximum storm surge is about (8 - 10) feet at Maungdaw district, about (6-8) feet at Sittwe district.
General caution
- Under the influence of the deep depression, rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Lower Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Chin and Rakhine States with likelihood of regionally heavy falls, strong wind, flash flood and land slide.
- Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls, strong wind, flash flood and land slide.

- Trawlers, vessels and ships off and along Myanmar Coasts are advised especially to avert in condition of the deep depression.

- According to the observations at (11:30) hrs MST today, the depression over Northeast Bay of Bengal has intensified further into a deep depression and it is centered at about (40) miles West-Southwest of Cox’s Bazar (Bangladesh), (70) miles South-Southwest of Chittagong (Bangladesh), (65)miles Northwest of Maungdaw (Myanmar) and (110) miles Northwest of Sittwe (Myanmar).
- The present stage of the deep depression is coded orange stage and it is moving towards Southern coasts of Bangladesh near extreme Northern parts of Rakhine Coasts.

- The deep depression is located at Lattitude (21.3) degree North and Longitude (91.3) degree East, Centre pressure of deep depression is (994) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (45) miles per hour at (11:30) hrs MST today.

- It is expected to cross Southern coasts of Bangladesh near Chittagong during next (36) hours commencing noon today.

- According to the observations at (06:30) hrs MST today, the depression over Northeast Bay of Bengal has slightly moved to Northeastwards and it is centered at about (55)miles Southwest of Cox's Bazar (Bangladesh), (85)miles South-Southwest of Chittagong (Bangladesh), (75)miles Northwest of Maungdaw (Myanmar) and (115)miles Northwest of Sittwe (Myanmar).
- Although the present stage of the depression is coded yellow stage, it is closed to the extreme Northern Rakhine coast .There will be issued on the significant condition in timely.

- Depression is located at Lattitude (21.1) degree North and Longitude (91.1)degree East, Centre pressure of depression is (994) hatopascal and maximum wind speed near the center is (45)miles per hour at (6:30) hrs MST today.
