- According to the observations at (18:30)hrs MST today, a low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal has further intensified into a depression. It is centered at about (480) miles Southwest of Pathein (Myanmar), (320) miles West- Northwest of Port Blair (India) and (370) miles Southeast of Vishakhapatnan (India). It is forecast to move Northwest ward direction.
- The present stage of depression is coded yellow state as it is not moving towards Myanmar coasts.
- Under the influence of the depression , rain or thundershowers are likely to be fairly widespread to widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States with regionally and isolated heavy falls within next 3 days commencing evening today.
- Squalls with rough sea are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) mph.

- According to the observations at (18:30)hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to intensify further into a depression within next (48) hrs.
- Under the influence of the low pressure area, rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered to fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Rakhine and Mon States within next 3 days commencing evening today.
- Squalls with moderate to rough sea are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) mph.
